Bosch WFO2464GB/01 spin speed knob.

Query from my brother in Woking.

He has this Bosch machine and says that the spin does not seem to be performing that well, pump filter checked and clear.

His wife seems to think that it was fine until she set it to a 600 rpm spin, something she has hardly ever used.

Looking at the parts diagram (part No:172700) shows a single control knob for the spin speed. Is it possible that this knob could be broken and if so is it any easy fit. That is to say does it just pull off/push on from the front?

I haven’t come across any issues with the variable spin speed control on these but one thought springs to mind……Carbons brushes?

Hmm, it has been washing fine for the last two weeks since he first contacted me, just says it doesn’t seem to be spinning at full speed??

His missus is convinced it was OK until she turned the speed down.
