Weird. Exactly the same fault as Jim. Must be an ‘oop North fault’. On this I found a collar stiffener in the pump, catching against the impellor. Thought I’d solved it but she rang back later with same fault 😥 . She is getting the fault around 1 in 5 washes also.

Did either of you do that check too? Seems an odd one, but he’s one of the Bosch experts.

Checked the heater all ok on that front, normal resistance and over 200 Ohms on megger. I’ll try an NTC next call.

Heater on mine clear on all counts as well, no call back as yet, I’m going to tempt fate and give her a call in the morning. :clown:

Curiouser and curiouser. ❓
I have just this minute spoken to this customer, she reports that it has worked perfectly on the cottons/heavy wash side without time saver selected on both 40° & 60° washes.
It has missed out the rinses and stuck at 1 minute on two out of three occasions when set to the delicates/synthetics with time saver selected.
She is now going to try it without using time saver on any washes,…………….. watch this space.

I think the “time saver” (aka. Reduced Time) is a bit of a red herring TBH. The chances are that at some point, no matter what cycle or option button is pressed, the machine intermittently defaults for whatever reason and hence the 1 min display.
Having accepted that fact then the ‘default’ issue can be a bu&&er to pin-point. Almost always it either a time-out on fill, drain or heat. Also irratic earth insulation on motor or heater can be an issue as well as dodgy connections to and from the circuit board cannot be overlooked. Finally, the circuit board itself of course.
In short, a ruddy nightmare combination of luck and guesswork and resolve. I wish you well on that one Jim, sorry pal can’t find a magic bullet for you this time. 😐

This weeks update. 😀
Customer has just rung to say that she has now done around 15 loads in the past week on both the delicate and cotton cycles at various temperatures but has not used the Time Saver button at all.
It has completed every single wash perfectly. :con:

Ah, I remember a post on this a while back. I think some of those left the factory with the wrong button fitted. That’s the Time Waster model.
BTW mine ended up in’t tip as she couldn’t be bothered waiting for a solution 🙁
