    Called at this Bosch washer on my way home, thinking it would be a 2 minute job as the customer said the washer wouldn’t drain (a quick £35).
    The pump was blocked with nail files and hair grips.
    But when I came to test it, the machine will not take any water and the pump will not work.
    The impeller is free on the pump. The water is turned on.
    If you put it on a wash the drum turns but no water goes in.
    It’s been along busy week, am I been stupid here and missing something obvious?

    Pressure switch/ air bell crudded up? Duff heater?

    Will never know the outcome as the customer rang to let me know she’s replaced it with a new Indesit washer.
    Never mind i’ll be back in 18 months!
