ParticipantHi,
My first posting so please be gentle! Our Bosch washing machine is displaying error code f03 on the rinse cycle. We have checked the drainage hose, as the instruction manual says. We have also cleaned the white plastic bottle at the rear of the machine.
You can hear the pump whirring but no water is entering or leaving the moachine. Does anyone have any suggestions of what else we can try/ any parts that need replacing.
We have also heard about the eco ball in the sump getting stuck. How do you release this?
Any suggestions gratefully received.
ThankyouCarolyn

This is a drainage problem. Countless ways how to go about this.
First check the pump filter (access panel on front of machine), even though the pump can turn it can also be restricted.
Second (if mechannically adept) check the sump hose that leads from the tub to the pump. This can sometimes block. It also refers to your eco ball question.
This is located at the tub end of the sump hose and its not unusual for this to stick if another object gets caught with it. If you can get underneath the machine this hose is easily released, 1 clip, but be prepared for a bit of leakage.
An easy test is to blow into the waste pipe end that connects to the house plumbing and feel if there is any resistance into the drum. This is all assuming you have checked your house plumbing first 😉
Remember disconnect power at all times. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply.
We had difficulty accessing the sump hose, as we could only get the front of the machine partially off. Do you need to remove the drum seal to get the front right off?
Thanks again

WAIT!!
You don’t need to take the machine front off. If you can pull the machine forward and lean it back against the cupboard or wall say 45 degree angle or you could disconnect it and lay it on its back. This will give you enough access to the bottom of the machine.
You will see the hose straight away and as I said its only held on with one spring clip.
Much easier than taking the front off. If in doubt have someone support the machine if you are worried about it falling on you 😯
Have you tried blowing into the hose ( never tastes nice)?
Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for that.
We managed to access the eco ball and clean it & the surrounding pipe work, but it hasn’t made any difference. The water is still not draining from the machine.

Not on a Bosch WFP3300GB/01 it doesn’t as it has a solid base….2 threads one subject carbal? Please don’t open a third on the subject as it’s hard to keep track and help solve your problem otherwise. 😉
Lest of course you find a local engineerto sort it for you?
