I don’t think the waste pipe coupling or the way the drain hose fits to it would be a problem to leave as it is. What I think may well be the problem is that the drain hose from the pump to the sink will be blocked or partially blocked by something. After 5 years use I expect it to be solid with loads of ‘gunge’ anyway. 😉

If the machine ‘times out’ during the draining process it will interrupt the microprocessor and lead it a merry dance, hence starting again, showing differing wash times etc…..

If you need an engineer to sort it for you, then simply click on the link below 😉

    Hi
The aqua sensors (if fitted) may have gunge around them also and then you would get erratic timing. (Part of its fuzzy logic)
My suggestion would be to run a boil was with no clothes in the appliance, just detergent (not non bio or liquid)
This hopefully will shift the crud. Try and do this procedure once a month to keep the appliance internally cleaner.

Re: Bosch WFP3300 Problem – anyone help?

    Hi Guys,

Many thanks for the replies – I have done as you have suggested but the problem remains, near the end of a wash cycle, the machine starts again. Maybe it’s just so full of gunge it’s confusing the sensors and it just needs a good service / clean. Other than that, the electronics are faulty.

Next stage is an Engineer & I have already contacted a White Goods approved Company.

Will post here how I get on….

    Latest…
One of your approved repairers came out, stripped the machine down and basically gave it a good clean however, the problem remains – when the machine gets near to finishing a wash cycle, it starts again but not from the beginning!

Could it be the electronics have gone?

I wll ask APG Basildon to come out again but just wondered if anyne had any ideas?

The machine is clean, the pipes are unblocked and clear but something is still rotten in Denmark. Ho hum…

You didn’t mention if APG changed the pump? I guess they didn’t then?

I wonder if you could just set your machine onto a rinse cycle, let it fill with water, stop it and then set it to spin. Set your stopwatch and time how quickly it drains away all the water? ( General guide: Normal water level = 45secs max, higher water level = 60 secs max) 😉

Re: Bosch WFP3300 Problem – anyone help?

    Hi Martin,

APG didn’t change the pump but another repairer did back in August 06 when the machine first started displaying the F03 error code.

The pump must still be OK. The machine is clean, the pipes are clear of blockages yet the damn thing still does not finish the wash cycle / program.

There must be a reason it starts again from differing times?

The High Water level button is not ever pressed so it can’t be that.

It would be unusual if the Micro had gone wouldn’t it?

    Very unusual.

Have you checked the drainout time yet?

Re: Bosch WFP3300 Problem – anyone help?

The machine continues to complete the wash program cycle down to about 7 mins then jumps back to 101 mins and starts the cycle form there.

The approved repaired has said the front program selector board needs replacing and this is a code 480 and likely to be around 130.00 UK pounds just for the parts.

I originally purchased a Bosch to last a long time but have spent a fortune on it so far not including the board that has yet to be fitted – wish I’d just purchased a new machine when it first went belly up.

    You live and learn.
