Bosch WFR 2860 intermittent problem drum won’t rotate / spin

Hi

I have an intermittent problem in that the washing machine will normally run fine through the cycle. Every so often, it will run through without spinning or rotating.

The only thing that seems to fix it is taking the back off and wiggling a brush connector on the motor.

The drain is clear and it fills/drains absolutely fine.

I think I’ve narrowed it down to when I press ‘pause’ at any point in the cycle.

Apart from avoiding pressing the pause option could you advise on what the problem and therefore solution is?

problem = loose connection

solution = find loose connection by process of elimination.

you have more or less answered your own question though in that when you move the brushes it works, i would be inclined to take off motor and have a closer look TBH hope this helps.
