bosch wfr2860 not spinning

On a normal wash cycle the machine spins fine.
On a spin cycle alone (for my swimming costume & small towel after having rinsed them), it starts turning the drum quite fast but then stops quite quickly. The contents are dripping wet still. I have tried changing the spin speed but this makes no difference. The machine didn’t do this before.

Any help with further ways to determine the problem cause gratefully received.

Your machine has an out of balance sensor which will stop it spinning small loads because it can’t evenly distribute them around the drum.

HI, Thank you.

I will try running the rinse & spin option with a full load that has successfully washed & spun to see if this is the case.

Well the washing span fine as part of a wash cycle. The same load didn’t spin at all on the rinse & spin cycle. On the spin cycle alone it started but didn’t get up to speed before stopping……
