As long as no earth leak is found, I can’t think of any other reason but the module. 🙂

Oops!
It looks like the model number was wrong on this.
It should have been WFR2860GB/01
This machine has a separate LCD display to the control board. Has anyone come across this problem with this machine who can advise if it’s more likely to be the display or PCB or a 50/50 chance.
I don’t fancy gambling on this one as the LCD retails at £88 and the PCB £150.

Have changed quite a few display boards on these recently.
However they have NEVER been completely blank, normally a few characters missing on display.

Got one just the same today, the machine sits in a cold ‘laundry room’ with a vented tumble dryer that isn’t vented and pumps loads of steam into the room!
The display at the time I called was showing gibberish but after I lifted the lid and pointed a small hairdryer at the PCB and warmed it all up it worked fine 🙂
Later in the day after it had cooled some the customer tried using it and its bu&&ered again 🙁 So I will order a new Main Board (401123) I guess as the Display Board I figure must be OK. (My logic being that if the Display Module were at fault you should still be able to set the machine into action. In this case nowt works, so it must be the more expensive option?)
Hey ho!
