We think the draining pump is blocked. Also can’t unscrew the bottom filter beyond a quarter turn. There feels something very solid blocking it. Can we backwash everything through the main drainage pipe, or is there a non return valve? Is there a way to get the bottom screw fitting open to check what is in that basket?
Machine won’t do anything because it can’t pump out, it won’t start a wash cycle, spin cycle or anything. There is a quiet motor noise. We have manually drained through the black hose, some very fine residue came out.
    Thanks

The filter should come out without too much force, but first make sure there’s no locking screw through the front of the filter (Some manufacturers use them). It’s possible that the filter is being jammed up by something solid inside, if you remove the pump you should be able to clear any obstructions quite easily.

PLEASE REMEMBER: POWER OFF & PLUG OUT, Before opening the machine. A :zap: can seriously shorten your life.
