    Bosch wft 2800
    The washing machine in my house wont wash when set to 40 degrees, it will wash at 60 though.
    Anyone know what could be wrong with it?

    Cold water valve maybe 😕
    In what way does it not wash at 40?

    When set to 40, It wont start the wash.

    60c – hot fill for wash.
    40c – cold fill for wash.
    No start on 40c – waiting for cold water……….

    Assuming that the water is turned on and that the fill hose is not kinked or trapped, cold water valve more or less has to the culprit. It’s this one HERE. Not the cheapest water valve ever made, so check the other points first.

    Power off if you intend to do this yourself.

    Also worth checking the sieve filters in the valve for silt blockage etc .

    Update.
    It starts washing at 40 but doesnt finish and skips to rinse or spin.not sure yet.
    Ill be more specific when I find out more.

    Thats what it used to do, now it doesnt start at all as I posted originally :rolls:

    How come it rinses with cold water?
    Cold water is getting in somehow.
    Does it not use the cold water valve?
    Also whereabouts is the cold water valve located inside the machine,Is it hard to get to etc.
    Ill look at the part and match it inside, but wondering if its hidden a bit.
