Hi hopefully someone can help here?

Got the above Bosch washer dryer that has provided good service but has just stopped working. Symptoms are the fill valve opens and lets water in for around 10 seconds but then stops and the drum does not turn. It is pumping out ok and does not turn even when put on spin. Ordered new brushes only to find that this model appears to have a motor end cap that contains the brushes within a captive holder with external spring. Can I use the brushes that I have been sent through and just solder the braid from the current arrangement to the the new brushes obviously minus the spring on the new brushes. Dont mind if this is only acceptable as a temporary arrangement just to prove that nothing else is wrong then get the proper end cap?

    Thanks

Cut the spade connector off the ones that were sent and removed spring a soldered. Really easy to do even the fitting was a doodle as you can rest the spring on the side of the carrier will report back when re-fitted.
