    My Bosch WFT 8030 is stopping during the wash cycle with the 2nd LED (from the left) on (the II LED) and the 7th (from the left) flashing (the mid heat LED), and the drum is left with a very high water level.
    Any suggestions to possible causes appreciated.

    I think I have deciphered the code 😀 if I have its saying you have a pump or drain fault, which would tie in nicely with the excessive water in the drum 😉
    You could try draining appliance down via its small discharge pipe near drain pump filter, once drum is empty remove filter completely and inspect inside for blockage/debris etc in and around the impeller.

    Un plug appliance before attempting this :plug:

    Problem traced to a fulty cold fill valve (one of the three). It was not shutting off after the rinse fill.
