Only if you select rinse and spin only do you mean?

The pumps knacked I expect? Just pumps cold water but not hot? 😉

It Goes right through the wash cycle without draining then it moves onto the rinse cycle drains and rinses spins as normal

That’s what it’s supposed to do then? Presumably it comes to the end of the main wash cycle then does a cooling fill sequence (to rinse level) and then pumps out and does 3 more rinses. Is that what you mean? 😕

The customer was complaining of poor wash quality and I thought that it should do at least one drain during the wash cycle but maybe not then perhaps I’m barking up the wrong tree

Blimey, it has to drain during the wash cycle and prior to rinse 😯
If it isn’t its going to be as Martin suggested IMO
Too hot during wash so defective pump jamming, as it gets closer to the rinse cycle it appears to cool sufficiently to allow the pump operate and continue onto cold rinses with no problem 😀

You will need full model number off appliance and what make of pump is fitted ie – askoll or siemens as it could be either 😉
