Bosch WFT2800 code 3???

Oldish washer dryer, says dryer hasn’t worked for a while but the TOC just needed resetting.

As often happens I could not replicate the supposed fault on visit. Motor fine ( fitted new about three years ago). Fills, drains, heats,washes,spins, meggers out fine.

She said that it starts to wash then after less than 10 minutes it stops with 3 displayed in the small dryer time countdown window. ❓

Any thoughts?

Off the back on my grey matter I think it means the hot valve is faulty? (I will look it up later when I get a moment and get back to you.)

Just checked my customer database and confirmed my grey matter still clinging on to odd bits of info. August 2007 replaced hot valve to solve error code 3 on a WFT2800.

Other error code 3’s (but only on WFK series m/s’s though) refer to knackered pumps.

Thanks Martin, will see how it goes, pump did sound a bit weary but was emptying fine and shouldn’t kick in at the start of a wash cycle anyway.
