Bosch WFT2800 Washer Dryer Not Spinning..

Our 8 year old unit has suddenly stopped spinning, still hear the relay clicking in and out. From what I’ve seen on this forum this seems a common problem solved by replacing the brushes, is this correct?

If so how easy is it to remove the motor and replace them, is there a mickey mouse photo showing how to remove the motor.

Recently replaced the drain pump, the most difficult part of the job was understanding and gaining access to the pump. I suspect this problem will be very similar…

Cheers for any help, near to splashing out £500….how long will the brushes take to arrive ? ? ?

Easy if you know what your doing. There isnt any micky mouse pictures and if you are unsure of what you are doing best leave it to someone who knows what they are doing. Try Repairs@ for some in your area who does 🙂

Ok, I’m going to have a go at replacing the brushes, having looked at various diagrams, can anyone confirm if this is best approach/access method..

1. Remove power & plumbing.
2. remove rear panel.
3. remove motor from rear.
4. Dismantle the motor, and replace bushes.
5. reassemble.
6. test.
