Bosch WFX2467GB/01 – skipping to end of program

Hi Folks

Got to go to this in the next couple of days and just wanted a few pointers before I go as not had to go to this fault on a Bosch before.

Cust says it skips to end as soon as starts wash. Read on the forums about skipping to the end on spin caused by dirty motor end frame but is there any thing else that might cause this type of problem?

I`d go for the tacho – duff / loose ….

So does skipping to the end of a program denote a motor related fault then? Or just a fault on m/c?

Can you get to the tacho on one of these – think the last Bosch motor I looked at for a suspected tacho fault the tacho was vertually imposible to get at?

Cust says no lights or fault code in window.

Any other pointers to what causes this would be gratfully recieved.

I’ve had two like this. It maybe dirty selector switch contacts. If it happens only on certain programs then it is probably the cause. New board or strip the switch to bits if you are feeling brave.

Thanks Firestater.

Been out to this this morning and is looking like a board fault – It does not select any programes and displays just 1200 spin speed and zero mins left what ever you select.

There was also no supply to the door lock – pump, heater checked out ok motor ok apart from 2Meg insulation res on armature/brush which presumably from carbon dust build up but little lower than I would have liked to have seen.

But looking like a board fault – unless anyone else knows better?

Not brave enough to strip these things tho 🙁
