    Hi,
I have a Bosch WFX2867GB washing machine that has worked very well for a number of years but now refuses to work. It was half way through a wash cycle last night and suddenly failed with no display, no output and totally unresponsive. I have established that the fuse is good and the 240V supply comes in through the mains filter and reaches the front panel but that’s as far as I can go. Please does anyone have any clue as to what might be broken and is there anything else I can check to assist in diagnosing the problem?
    Thanks,
    Steve

I am assuming you have no display or life whatsoever

if yes sounds like the main pcb at fault all other faults will give you some lights lit

    Thank you Dave.

Yes, no display, and totally lifeless and I had just come to the same conclusion as you (I don’t know what voltage the control PCB operates at but I would say that its a reasonable bet to suspect the low voltage regulator circuit for the display etc.).

Sadly the spares department does not seem to have one of these in stock and the only one I’ve been able to track down so far comes in at a cool £271.61. In view of the age of the machine I think I’ll just have to bite the bullet and buy a new one.

    Many thanks,
    Steve

you could contact QER or EMW electronics to see if they can repair the board. the chances are the power supply chip has gone on the board if so its easily repairable
