I have in my workshop a Bosch WFLI2440GB/14 integrated washing machine that is in for a bearing repair. After a pig of a job removing the tub and splitting it apart I have noticed that the drum shaft has a pitted dent on it right where the drum seal is seated.
In my lock up I have a Bosch WFX3268GB/23 that has a blown motor and good drum and bearings. I would be very interested to know if the drum is the same as the one I have in bits so I can continue the repair for my customer. I know I could find out by taking it all apart but I would rather avoid this time consuming pain of a job to discover its different. Had a look on connect to see if I could compare them. I found the drum for the WFLI2440 machine but not the WFX3268 one.
Would love to hear back.
