I have a Bosch WF2001 that washes on 30 degrees but no temperature higher than that on any programme. When set to a 40 degree programme and press Start, there is a normal ‘click’ heard at the back of the washing machine but the water doesn’t fill. The Start and Wash lights stay on for about 3 minutes and then go out and the Start and Spin lights start flashing. User guide says could be because the tap is not turned on or the inlet filter blocked. But it works at 30 degrees! WFF2001 has a hot and cold fill – not sure how it decides where to take water in from and whether it changes based on programme. And besides, I have cleaned the filters on both hot/cold inlets. My guess is something to with hot fill not working, but machine doesn’t even sound like its trying to fill! Any ideas?

Does the rinse cycle work ok ? If it does , then my guess would be the hot fill valve has failed and is not energising when hot water is called for.

Testing the resistance of the hot water valve would be a start – you should be looking for approx 3.5 – 4.5kohms

Yes rinse cycle is fine – 30 degree complete cycle fine.
But you are absolutely correct – resistance 3.9 kohms across cold inlet and not on hot.
I’ve ordered one of these : 1 x 154645 – Bosch Washing Machine Inlet Valve (154645 Water Inlet Valve) and will post back if fixes problem.
