Bosch WIS24140, door lock problem?

WIS24140GB/14 FD8806

Apparently a very intermittent fault, I could not replicate it. 😥

Works fine for weeks then customer says it completes full programme perfectly, then door lock clicks but won’t open. She says ‘all’ lights are flashing but then said it may be the three lower spin lights and a couple of the others and it beeps constantly.

If left for several hours it will eventually open.

A difficult removal job if it has to come out, could it just be a duff interlock, not seen this fault before?

Yep, I had such a fault with a Siemens interlock just last week. 😉 Door would take 2-3 hours to release. Fitted new lock – sorted.

Can’t you just peel the door seal back?

Yes, that’s why I asked if it was likely to be the interlock, don’t carry that one so thought I would ask first. 😉 8)

I meant it would have to come out if it wasn’t the interlock.
