Bosch WIS24141GB Washing Machine flashing lights (pause/start, 800, spin and end)

We have had a Bosch WIS24141GB Washing Machine since 2015. It has now stopped working. When you try to initiate a washing program by turning the dial to required setting, the pause/start button light, the 800 spin light, the spin light and end light all flash. Also all the buttons do not work, it’s as if the machine programming is frozen. I’ve drained the pump, there was a small item in the space now removed, checked the impeller turns ok and removed all drain connections to check for blockages. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, but this thread is relative to the 400 spin speed flashing, ours has the 800 speed flashing and my research so has shown this could be to do with the motor ? but can’t find any definitive answer. Cheers

well if its is the motor the first thing to check is the carbon brushes

then the machine may need resetting

I’ve changed brushes before, but not sure what you mean by resetting ?

bosch machine lock out when the brushes go to protect the motor but it does not lock everytime

to reset you have to follow a number of moves on the control panel to release the lock. There are about 3 or 4 different routines depending on the machine

check the brushes first and see if they have gone
