It needs testing with an insulation tester. If you’re not sure about this it will pay to get an engineer in to sort it

With a multimeter or better still an insulation tester. The heater located at the front of the tub, access via removal of the complete front panel. Please don’t ask for step by step instructions as we assume a degree of electro/mechanical knowledge toward anyone asking advice.

The alternative would be to seek a local independent repair person. Many of which can be found through our ‘engineer search’ facility on the Home page. 💡

Thanks that is the best option i think. would you have a rough idea of the cost to call a engineer to test and replace heater, the machine is 12 years old is it coming to the end of its life or can it go on for longer.
    regards and thanks jim

Give a few guys locally a call and ask the question is the way forward I reckon.
