BOSCH WTA 2000 DRYER

anyone know if you can get a back bearing repair kit for this dryer,
looks as though the orig bearing is machined on to drum, can you drill of,

You can get a repair kit 2413 092 05591, which is the bush and triangular plate and fittings, but does not include the three legged drum support. This is only available as part of a replacement drum. If it’s worked loose and it’s not too badly worn, you can drill the spider to take M6 bolts and nuts and get it back on that way.

I think he means 4213 092 05591 its a Crosslee made drier so the same as white knight etc although the Bosch has a stainless steel drum.

also need tripod unit thats attached to drum assy,
can you get this parts on its own, or is it a full drum job

As Chris says, the tripod/spider is not available as a spare part in it’s own right – although it should be! I’ve successfully drilled them off of old drums in the past and attached them with countersunk M6 bolts and nuts. I did e-mail Crosslea to se if they would supply me with some, but they said no – bless ’em! Perhaps the buying power of UKW could have more success.
