trying to remove the rear panel of my bosch wta2000 to try and find out why it isnt heating anymore. From the posts on here I reckon I need to test the element and 2 stats.

However, I can’t get the three screws out of the back panel to allow me access to the back of the drum and the element – I’m going to round them off if I do it anymore.

Am I doing something stupid? Surely they can’t be that hard to get off – they aint even budging a little bit.

That’s the 3 screws on the bearing hub you are referring to I guess?

They are pretty tight as they are put on with a power tool in the factory, so any good cordless screwdriver with a pozidrive bit in it will remove them, no probs!

All the remaining screws around the back panel will have to be removed as well, but I guess you’ve done that anyway?

Do make a note of any wires you take off and where they go ‘cos we can’t help you there my friend. 😉
