I have a customer whose dryer dries perfectly 1st load and then cuts out after a few minutes on any other tries until next day, when same thing occurs. As it’s a vented dryer I’ve checked for blockages and bad connections, but nothing obvious. Just hoping someone may have had similar problem.

Youv’e just got to hope it is the NTC on the heater box otherwise it could be main PCB woes. You’ll need a soldering iron to fit the new NTC if I recall correctly.

can i jump in here? my customer will abort any heated cycle so i have suspected the ntc. can you tell me what the room temp value of this is lease, or better still exactly which one youd recommend.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I’ve got what seems to be the same problem on the same model here. It initially gets nice and hot then gradually gets cooler and cooler with time. No blockages etc. Is it the NTC on the heater or is there another stat somewhere else that causes it? Can you buy the NTC separately.

    Thanks
