    Good morning all,

I’m due to visit a laundry room to look at three of the above condenser tumble dryers which are displaying the above, although the water container/s are not full.

I realise there are several possible causes, but wonder if there is a particular/common reason for this fault, as I gather all three dryers only “play up” occasionally?

My customer confirmed that the filters and condensers are routinely cleaned, and I expect to be looking at possible causes such as partial blockages in the system, including the condenser circuit and pump areas.

However, as there are three dryers to attend to, I would be grateful for any feedback, and wonder if there is something such as a faulty sensor, which may be causing such an intermittent problem…

    Thanks,

    jonty

    most likley contaminated full sensor

a lot of later machines dont use a float but have 2 electrodes to detect water. if these get covered in wet lint they can give false readings

I agree with dave probably the pump area is full if fluff and gives bad reading as dave has explained

    Thanks gents,

Visited yesterday, and all three dryers were as suggested.

Cleaned out pump/reservoir areas, and hopefully all good now.

    Regards,

    jonty
