ParticipantANY HELP PLEASE ? My dryer is drying but not condensing into the water container so steam is just coming out into the room – have cleaned the pump and checked the pipes -all clear . Have poured water into the pump tray and that goes straight upto the container . Any ideas gratefully accepted

The base tray under the condenser matrix to the pump chamber must be blocked. Hence no water from it is getting to the pump chamber section.

Have you checked all the seals, door seal, condenser seal, backplate seal etc. after all if its drying it must be escaping somewhere

thanks for the reply – yes its drying fine but the hot steam is coming out of everywhere apart from the water container ! is there a fan or something to check I thought it would just be a matter of cleaning out fluff from hoses and the pump – the floor beneath the machine is dry too the kitchen is just full of steam

There are fans but I would have though if they where blocked it wouldn’t dry. We have a Siemens one very similar and if I don’t clean the door seal and around the door bowl after every couple of time I get a similar problem

Thanks again for the reply but just had a quick check and the seals seem ok just don’t understand what it can be – we have cleaned everything as people have advised but no result .It is really odd as it is drying well and in the normal time it normally takes just no water going upto the container
