ParticipantThis dryer has an intermitent fault. When set on sensor dry mode it will finish to early leaving the clothes still very damp. When this happens the start light is left flashing.
Have cleaned the drum paddles and carbon drum contacts with vinegar.
Have run out of ideas myself, any suggestions would be great.
ThanksGraham

Hi
Can’t find that model, but if its a condenser dryer, have you thoroughly cleaned the condenser unit, that the vent is clear and fan is working efficiently?Greg

Sorry Greg WTL 5400 GB/04.
Well I did give the condenser box a clean out but I will have a closer look at the fine mesh slots where the cool air flows.
On the intial visit the pump chamber was full of grey sludge causing the water container light to come on prematurely but that is ok now.
If the condenser box is ok have you any other suggestions.
Thanks

Hi
In that case its worth removing r/h panel and locating uplift hose to dispenser.
Remove both ends and make sure its clear top to bottom and also remove uplift pump and check impeller for fluff chaffing (ooer)HTH

Just had a thought.
If the appliance is under loaded, then there is a chance that there will be not enough fabric between the drum and the paddles to actually sense a load ie machine thinking clothes are dry hence the short prog 😕Greg
