Bosch WTL5400GB/01 – side panel removal

Hi folks

Got one of these with the motor fan gone – removed the old one by removing couple of fan blades and hoding the motor shaft to undo nut – obvious can’t do that to refit new fan and side panel will have to come off to enable me to hold motor shaft.

How do you remove front of side panel? The front of the panel seems to be located on a stud between front panel and frame?. looked at taking front panel off via facia etc but that dosen’t look simple.

As usual Bosch presented me with an IQ test and I’m struggling to see the easy way if there is one.

Remove rear side panel screws, then 2 screws behind front condenser access panel and finally 2 screws holding it on top. Then lift panel up off the front lugs and away!!!!!! 😀

Thanks Martin – Can’t belive i missed that – bit like a lot of Bosch IQ tests – easy when you know how.. 😳
