Hi
Looking for any ideas – model as above. The dryer starts and runs for a couple of minutes or so then stops. This happens regardless of the setting – even “30 minutes warm”. There is heat in the drum. I’ve checked that the pump works and that there are no blockages in the pipes (clean the sump out as well to be sure). Air flows round ok. The drum moves freely.
The dryer does not always start when pressing the “start” button – it sometimes takes either a hard press or a couple of presses.
It usually stops and then the “cupboard dry” or “anti-crease” light comes on.
I’m happy to take the dryer to pieces, though not too good on the electrical side of things.
So if anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated.
Re: Bosch WTL6103GB/05 runs for a couple of minutes then sto
Just an update.
It’s in the utility room (can get cold an night!) but it’s worked ok in the same place for a few years (except for a soldered joint going on the circuit board last winter).
Tried different loads, wet, damp. light, heavy. Different settings.
Sometimes it works ok, than fails again.
Could this be something simple like the switch on the front?
