Bosch wvd 24520gb/01

Hi

I wonder can anyone help.I have a bosch wvd24520gb/01 you can select program the start button flashes, when you press the button the light stays on but the machine does nothing.The door lock light flashes so i changed the interlock but it made no difference.

Any thoughts please Dave.

Have you checked the filter at the front? If that’s ok it will prob be the brushes.

Hi
The pump does not make any noise,no does the machine,the door locks, but the door lock light flashes suggesting the door is open.There is no other lights flashing or alarm signals.

Then I would suggest you check the insulation on both water and drier elements, check the brushes, open circuit valve coil etc.

Its the childlock symbol flashing ! Try holding the start button down for 5 seconds and i bet the key disappears and the appliance starts up ok !
