Bosch WVD24520 dryer cutting out?

A very rare beast round these parts, looks Smeggy to me.

Complaint is that when set on dying cycle machine runs fine for five minutes or so and the cuts off, door stays locked and timer counts down but no pump, fan motor, main motor or heat. No error codes shown.

Also mentioned as an aside that on very rare occasions she gets display stuck on 1 minute on wash cycles. 😕

All components check out electrically, took the fan motor off and condensor appears clear.

Any known faults/ ideas?

Probably the hose at the bottom of the condenser. A pig to get to but can be done in situ. If your lucky you can rod it out & flush it through with bowls of water poured through where the fan motor lives. With a bright enough torch you can see the blockage through the drum holes (back left).

Thanks Tim, it is a bloody awful design for sure.

Possibly need to meggar the main motor and wash heater as well looking a the ‘stuck on one minute’ posts. 😥
