Bosch WVD24520gb/01 Washer dryer

Hi,
Washes fine.
Drying..Pump then fan for one minute, Valve opens, heater on fan stops, heater off, fan starts then after four minutes pump on then all stops dead with display on.
Customer says she sometimes gets F17 which according to her manual is water off, not draining or kinked hoses none of which is true.
Any help appreciated.

F17 primarily is a faulty inlet valve. (Coil goes intermittently O/C). It could also herald a PCB fault. Also check carefully the state of the pressure switch hose. 😀

And don’t forget the dryer function on this does start then stop then start again even when everything is ok.

Thanks Martin,
will check those things but the solenoid was not getting 240 constantly, never found it o/c at any time. Will check it thoroughly again.

It stops dead every time after four minutes, nothing happens, just stops with the display showing time left.
I suspect the pcb but will go back.

The point I was trying to make was even when you resolve the fault the dryer still does that start stop business at the very beginning, thats normal. So as long as it doesn’t stop after 4 minutes you know you’ve sorted it. Hope that makes sense.

Never thought of it like that. I’d have probaly thought it wasn’t fixed. :boops:
