This washer dryer keeps stopping after about 4 minutes on the dry cycle. If you select auto for example it starts on 2 hours but only runs to 1:56 and then stops. It heats up until this point and shows no error just the time 1:56. The ntc seems to test out ok but its the only thing I can think of. Funny thing is that after I took the ntc out and put it back (tightening the connections) it worked the next time I tested it, but the cust said it did work occasionally.

    Any ideas please?

    Thanks

Possibly a blocked condensor causing an overheat condition ? If you can access the test programme, you might find an F.08 error code.

I have the same problem on a Bosch WVD24460GB. Went to test mode and sure enough up came F08. When I took the fan off of the top of the condenser it was blocked with what looks like dried dog fur. I cleaned as far as I could reach but fault was still there. So I took the fan off again and poured half a dozen kettles of boiling water down through the condenser and then gave it a good Roding with a dishwasher cold fill hose with one end cut off. The machine is now running, fingers crossed that this has cured the problem.

    Pete
