Bosch WVD2452SGB/01 not finishing programme.

Customer complaining of 40 degree wash going through programme to 1 minute and then starting the programme again. Wash results fine and machine meggers out ok. Any ideas on this?????

Did you directly test the wash heater?

Have you checked the heater? It’s probably not starting again but just not progressing on from the wash cycle. My guess is that you’ll find the heating element o/c .

They’ve watched it go down to 1 then next time looking was 1 hour 15. Apparently they noticed washes were taking longer and decided to watch it. They argued the heater point with me when I told them about the added time if it fails, saying that the clothes were coming out fine and they have seen it do the 1 minute to start. Thought I’d check if anyone had had this before I hauled this beast out of its wedges.

The heater is at the front. Front panel off as normal.

Remind me not to listen to customers version of what happened. Was indeed the heater. Just their version of events which tripped me up
