Hi, can somebody help me please?

I have a Bosch machine, two years old, not heavily used.
It started to leak today and when I removed the top I could see the water, with some air bubbles, flowing out of the little white plastic box located at the top rear.
It has two pipes connected to it, one from the cold water intake, the other diving into the lower parts of the machine.
Should there be a small valve in the little hole in the top of the box? (It’s about 3cm x2cm x1.5cm in size).
I’ve checked the outflow pipe and it is clear, and fitted with a one-way plastic flap valve at its connection to the waste outlet pipe.

    What should I check next?
I’ve just noticed that the water supply is burping at other taps, perhaps due to repairs down the road.
    Is this a red herring?
    regards,

    Hi
Top of the box I take it you mean dispenser top. Should have 2 hoses going to rear of it and 1 hose on the top of it which goes down to the empty pump.
    Hope that helps

Nah Greg, probably means the little air break doofer for the condenser.

It is normal for water to flow through this on dry cycle. And no there isn’t meant to be a valve in the hole, that is normal.

To be honest if you can’t trace the leak yourself, then it’s engineer time.

Thanks Boro, but that’s where the water is pouring out from, the hole in the air break doofer.
So, if there is no leak, can it be caused by air locks in the water supply -they’ve been repairing the main down the road.
I’ll leave it for a day and let it settle down.
    Then call in an engineer!
    Thanks,
    Crad
