Hi,
The drum of my Bosch WVF2402GB/02 has stopped rotating and I’ve gathered from reading the forum that the carbon brushes may need to be replaced. They are exactly like the ones in this picture http://www.ukanfixit.co.uk/sites/defaul … 15053a.jpg.
I’ve got the plastic cases off and the problem is detaching the brush from the part that has the electrical cable. I can see from the picture that there is a hole at the top of the metal bit. Does this anchor onto something, because for the life of me I can’t get the brushes out. Not asking for a step-by-step, just want to know how it fits together so that I don’t break anything. Thanks!

You should change the brushes complete with the black plastic holders, the correct brushes should come complete.
