ParticipantBosch WVG30461GB/02 washer dryer. FD9604. Znr:- 400993.
Shut the door, press start, door lock clicks twice then nothing. No fault code – just the display showing the program details; cycle won’t start. Changed the interlock, no difference.
This interlock is the instantaneous type (pt no:- 00638259) that works with the fixed door peg with the square hole in it (no hook). I have had a fault with this type of peg and interlock in the past and never really solved it even after changing virtually all the interlock and door parts.
Anyone had this fault and what is the solution? Could it be a failed PCB? This machine is only just out of warranty and used by one person, so I have referred her back to Bosch in the first instance. In the meantime…… any ideas?
Thanks!!
Steve.

Please elaborate Tim…….. thought it was only Lux based washer dryers that had the stupid dryer heater issues…….. I’m intrigued…….. 😯
Thanks!

Hi, did you resolve this issue ?
I have one doing exactly the same.
No fault codes – Main PCB at fault?

Just a thought, could the child lock be active?

Checked the child lock 1st thing. On this machine oddly the child lock is program specific so you need to check on the last program used (and all the others for good measure !). Door interlock is functioning.
Tried reset. Last fault code is E00. No fault codes flagging up either.
Cheers.

ParticipantHI, I have had three with the same fault, i referred the first one back to Bosch which was three months out of warranty and they covered it for him, it was main board fault.
Maybe they have an issue with it normally they won’t cover one day over let a lone three months!Steven
