Hi all, I am getting steamy hot clothes coming out of this instead of dry when using the tumble function.

I’ve done a bit of digging, and it looks like the condenser is not getting cold water fed to it. However I am finding it a bit tricky to figure out exactly what is going on. There appears to be two solenoid coils that can feed water to the condenser. The coils on both measure OK. The one nearest the front of the machine, with brown wires, appears to never get activated. The one behind it with red wires, does seem to occasionally come on and off. This is on a block of four with the other two for the washing.

The solenoid at the front is driven from a small piggy back dryer board on the main control board, and the continuity is good from there to the solenoid.

I do not know why there are two solenoids feeding the pipe to the condenser? Is one to provide a lot of cold water and one less maybe. Am I correct that the front solenoid should be activating during the drying cycle, and does the fact that it is not indicate I need a new piggy back dryer board. They are about £85 so not cheap if that is not the problem. Is there anything else that could cause this, there are some (temperature?) sensors plugged into this board as well, but that’s about it.

    Any advice gratefully received!
