Bosch WVH28360GB/02 no water during drying ?

Whilst testing the dry cycle after fixing another fault i notice it doesn’t seem to take in any water. Tested valve circuit from pcb at 4Kohms ( seems about right ) but never see a supply across the valve ?
Does it only take water at certain times ?

did you try with wet washing in ?

due to energy saving and water saving its likely the water will not flow till the computer says it necessary
