    Bosch WVT1260GB/01 washer drier. FD8704.

Went to this machine back in January and the overheat cut out had gone O/C . Reset it and tried the drier. Perfect heating. I removed the fan motor and cleaned the condenser and the fan chamber; a fair bit of fluff removed.

Called back today; no heat on dry again. Overheat ‘stat had gone O/C again. Reset it; all OK. So I checked everything on the drier; removing the fan motor again – all clear. 😕

The only thing left it seems is the thermostats on top of the drier unit or a weak safety cut out. Have I missed anything?

    Any help please!!

    Thanks,

    Steve.

hi, you didn’t mention the water valve.

Customers not interupting the drying cycle? If the appliance fails to run the cool down because its been turned off the stat will trip because of residual high heat. Check the condensing valve as these are prone to failure.#
