    Hi,
We have a Bosch WVT1260GB/01 washer-dryer and the dryer section has stopped heating up. I have checked the element and that seems OK (35 Ohms?). There is 230V on both sides of all three stats on top of the heater duct and both sides of the heater element, measured against neutral. The fan is running and water is going to the condenser.
My wife, who usually drives it, says she has had to switch it on and off to get the dryer to work in the past, but I can’t get it to heat up at all… Can anyone suggest what the problem could be please.
    Thanks.
    Sparky.

Push the red reset button on the stat on the heater duct

Thanks for the suggestion. I have pressed the very small red button on the stat closest to the heater. It shows s/c on my meter. No change I’m afraid…

It could be then that the dryer control is at fault. It switches on the neutral side so that would explain you getting 230 to the heater and stats.

OK thanks Martin. I will take it apart and see if there is anything obvious… Don’t suppose there are any wiring or circuit diagrams out in the wild?

Not a chance, so be sure and take clear photos of those wires 😉
