I’ve been to one of these today
Full model GSU2605GB/01 FD 7805
The problem is the fan motor only turns slowly. It starts up to speed for about 5 seconds then slows and judders. I tried a fan fron van but had same fault. Suspect main board fault.
But someone has been at it before and i am not sure if all the heater, sensor conectors are in correct position.
The only one I can verify is the fan as it only operates when door shut, all the other ones will fit in any position which seems strange.
Does any one know the correct positions & is this likely to cause fault or is it board trouble as i suspect.
Also are the parts readily available for this model still?

Hi.
Had this with simalar unit where another engineer had been out and shoved all the plugs in wrong and the tray heater was on when the door was shut 😯 , luckily the overheat protector head taken the unit out.
The plugs SHOULD be keyed to suit and I have always found with carefull inspection it can be worked out, Although sounds like you are on the right line with the fan operating when the door is shut.
It is worth checking the TOC strapped to the evaporator as if it has been connected wrong before and blown it can make the unit do funny things, TOC not to be confused with the NTC on tne evaporator 😉 usually TOC is all black with black wires and closed circuit.
Usually a new fan solves slow running faults, but power is supplied via a triac on the board and they have been known to play up, especially on compresser triacs where not enough voltage is supplied and the compressor ‘clicks’ like its siezed up. Worth checking the heaters whilst its appart as the evaporator one does go from time to time and are a pig to replace as the pipes snap 🙁
All else fails and its a new board
Part number for the board (assuming its a GB/01 variant) is 262128 and retails at £122.08

Heaters, TOC etc all check ok
Forgot to mention it was also displaying error code “E 2” and had ice build up on front edge of evap as if poor air circulation.
It also has had a defrost heater changed by previous engineer.
I did try to work out conectios but defrost heater plug, drain heater plug & TOC plug all look same and fit each position. I presume sensor is correct as on single conection below others.
