Hi Folks,

This dishwasher is stuck on pump/fill. Waste is conventional/ok, no sign of any probs with float switches. I suspect module (s/c pump triac). Anyone got any other ideas?.

Metering unit on l/h side and/or ribbed hose from sump to that unit could be gunged up.

If its fills and pumps at the same time, float mirco switch is faulty. have seen a couple with this fault lately.

Thanks for the response Greg.
I will check when I go back to this job on tuesday. But you can see water clearly flowing through the sump hose and out through the outlet side of the metering tank, both at the same time.
I will also have a closer look at the waste to eliminate syphoning.

Mike, the mirco switch part No 165256 price £9.78 in case you want to take one with you, save a return trip.

I have had quite a few lately with this fault.

Has always been the pcb.

Defo worth checking the s/w though.

Iv’e never had a float microswitch fail 😕
