ParticipantIt was on a wash cycle and got to the last min. it is now just sounds like its draining and filling at the same time.
I can feel the drain hose jumping, but can only stop it running by opening the door. It has water in the matrix but only half way up. The matrix and everything under the left side panel is fully clean. The big orange float switch jumps up and down as the drain pump runs. There is water inside the machine and I cant reset by pressing the two buttons on the front, it just stays pumping away with 1 min remaining and light on and also the salt and rinse aid lights on.
The programme select lights are not on.Any ideas, not the best description I know.

Blown control module is what I have found. 👿 Is it just a straight swap for a new one or will this have blown for another reason?

Have checked heater element and got 24ohms so this shouldn’t be the cause of this blow. Any other checks before I send control module to QER? Thanks for any help.

Yes, the triac that’s blown needs to be identified as to what component it operates? The component being either the motor, water point, dispenser solenoid and such like as that too is faulty and will need replacing also. Repairing the module will be a waste of time and money otherwise. 🙁
By the way, you post on the subject of several appliances so would I be right in thinking that you are in the trade? If so then why not apply for trade access?

Trying to trace the tracks on the board it seems to follow back to the rinse aid sensor.
No, I’m not trade. Just the family fix it, make do and mend guy.

Hmm……?
More likely the dispenser solenoid I would think. Best then to replace that when you repair or replace the board. I have my doubts at QER being able to fix it by the way. 🙁

You were right about QER, they cannot fix the board, so I’ll be needing a new one. 🙁
