As in the title dishwasher was in the evening set on timer to start in the morning, but found not working. No display working, machine totally dead. It’s FD number is FD9003. 230v power to switch and from switch to PCB is supplied, but no 230v power comes out from PCB main power cable (not sure if it should be 230v or less). Looking at PCB it seems the 100ohm +-5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} green resistor is cracked. From other topics/ other forums it seems the resistor blew, with likely power module LNG304GN also best to be replaced as this is where other person had culprit fault that blew the resistor. Just posting in case anybody has any different diagnosis before I need to find somebody to re-solder new pieces to PCB (new board is £200+ so not worth it for 15 year old machine with original purchase price £375). Thank you in advance.

    probably correct
if green resistor has gone its most likely the power chip

problem with these power supplies is they are always on so yours has been on since 2010 unleaa you turn it off at the socket

Thank you Electrofix. Sent it for repair and will let the forum know how it went. Just curious…..when I was testing dishwasher on/off switch in dishwasher door, there was no 230v power going to pcb when switch was off (this is with wall socket being on)….at least the one thick wire I checked (there are several thin wires going to/from door switch as well). If that was the only power wire to pcb, I would think there would be no power to power module LNG304GN? Just asking. I will start to switch power to dishwasher on wall socket if that will prolong its life ( not sure if the on/off cycles are better or worse vs keeping it permanently on)

For benefit of others, I sent PCB for repair by https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115535886912
Item repaired (resistor and LNG304GN changed, not sure if anything else) and dishwasher working again.
