Bosh SMS448 Dishwasher

I have just had the dishwasher stop working!

It started to fill, the soap dispenser opened and then it stopped.
I have checked the fuse and the water inlet and both are OK.
I have tried to start the programme in another part of the cycle and nothing happens.
The machine appears to be dead!

Any ideas please

i take it you have check the wall socket

had quite a few jobs where i plugged it in somewhere else and it worked

Yes checked that and even tried an extension off another socket, one that I knew worked

have you checked whether this unit is covered by the bosch recall

find the FD number on the dishwasher label ( normally on top of door on stailess part. its a clear label so look carefully you can miss it till you see it )

if the FD number (1st 4 digits) is between 7901 to 8504 contact bosch to see if yours is covered. this fault may be the reason for the recall

Nice thought Dave but it is FD7507. I assume this is the date of manufacture.
