I wonder if someone may be able to help me with this. I have a Bosch Wff 147S washing machine and recently we’ve been having problems with the spin cycle. The water empties from the machine, but the spin cycle doesn’t start. When we come back to the machine we restart it part way through the rinse cycle and we hear water flowing. following this the spin will then complete as normal.

Any pointers where to start would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Bosh WFF 147S Spin Problems

Two possibilities spring to mind Simon.

    1) Water level control system sludged up. This is a white plastic chamber at the 6 o’clock position on the rear of the tub. Remove and clean it and the rubber mounting grommet.

    2) Carbon motor brushes worn/sticking in their holders. These are Bosch p/no 154740.

Either of these would give the symptons you describe. Do nothing to investigate without pulling the plug first. :plug:
