Bra wire strikes again.

    I want to try to retrieve the wire that is in my machine. it is a Candy SP 120… I took the back off of the machine but then didn’t know what else to do….Maybe i should just get a tech to do it. I could use some feedback guys.. ty (It’s times like this, I really need a man around.. hehe)

    Very tricky sometimes to extract an errant bra wire. Look carefully with a torch inside the drum to see if you can locate then grab hold of it with a pair of pliers?

    If its stuck fast between the inner and outer drums then its usually caught on the heating element and only removing the heater or the sump hose will allow access. Best seek help if that’s the case (see below) 😉

    Whilst the labels on most underwired bra’s do say ‘Handwash’ for a very good reason, when doing the washing I put the wife and daughters underwired bra’s in an old pillowcase and secure it with two safety pins. Using a washbag is not enough to prevent the second most common drum obsruction after coins.

    I have certainly learned that the hard way… I will not be making that same mistake again. I think mistakes are more palatable when you know for sure you can learn from them. Cheers guys 🙄 8)
