Brand new washing mac not starting help! Indesit WIXXE127

Hello,

I hope you can help, hubby is out and installed new washing machine last night, I have gone to do the first wash (manual says 90 degrees without pre-wash or laundry) so I have chosen programme 2, held the start/reset button down for one second display is showing red padlock (door locked adn the clock is counting down) BUT nothing is happening – what have I done wrong? Any help really aprpeciated!

I know this may seem a silly question but when he connected the water pipe/s up, did he remember to turn the water on? it’s surprising how many people make this mistake.
If the water is on i’d try going through setting it onto wash again, following the user instructions.

hi there, its not a silly question, I think you are right as its now displaying error H20, which means no water, sorry to have made such an elemnetary mistake, 😳 and thank you for taking the time to post! 😆
